Innovative software solutions – systematic defect analysis for positive process monitoring
High performance inspection systems call for first class software solutions. Whether AOI or AXI, all Viscom inspection systems run under the unified cover of the software interface ViscomVisionPilot (VVP). This unifies operation and makes program transfer between systems and production lines exceptionally easy.
The inspection program is created and optimized at the off-line programming station PST34, without interrupting operation of the inspection system. The operating software EasyPro is based on model- and component-oriented programming, with which the operator can start with the inspection intuitively and without detailed expert skills. This makes for simple inspection system operation and enables inspection programs to be created in just three steps: import data, link with the library and create the inspection pattern.
The SPC software (statistical process control) continuously accepts processed data from the inspection system and identifies process deviations. Change trends during production are quickly recognized to prevent serial defects and allow the process to be promptly tuned.
For retroactive product traceability, as required especially in automotive electronics, Viscom offers hassle-free connection to commonly available software. A closed-loop system is also available.
Last but not least, the actual defect processing takes place at the verification and classification station S6002. After inspection on the inspection system, the results are transferred to the classification station computer, where they can be called up with the Viscom HARAN software.
