Viscom Inc., a Georgia Corporation since 1998, serves the Americas as the sales, applications and service subsidiary of Viscom AG. The Americas operation is established in all industry segments, from large EMS providers to medium and small EMS providers, as well as OEM customers, both large and small. Varying types of products are being inspected using Viscom AOI and X-Ray systems, including automotive assemblies, medical devices, telecommunications equipment, military and aerospace products, as well as semiconductor devices.
Management
Carsten Salewski, President and CEO, heads Viscom Inc. Carsten has extensive knowledge of the Viscom equipment, having managed new product development for many years prior to relocating to the US. Ed Moll, Viscom's Western Regional Manager, has over 20 years of experience in capital equipment sales in the electronics manufacturing industry. Ed is responsible for the San Jose Applications Center, taking care of our customers in the Western US and Latin America. Juan Briceno, Engineering Manager, has over 13 years of electronics equipment service and applications experience, most of which has been supporting electronics manufacturing in all regions of the Americas. Having managed technical teams, Juan has unsurpassed knowledge of customer expectations and applies this knowledge to his unending commitment to customer satisfaction.
Technical Team
The team is growing at a very rapid rate, fueled by our increased sales and installations throughout the region. The technical support structure includes a staff of highly qualified and expertly trained applications engineers and service engineers situated near our customers. In addition to the direct sales and service employees, local manufacturer’s representatives are contracted for additional support, some of which also have technical personnel factory trained to service and support Viscom equipment.
Locations, Facilities and Services
The North American headquarters is located in Duluth, Georgia. We recently added Service- and Applications Center in San Jose, California and Guadalajara, Mexico. All three facilities have application, service and equipment demonstration capabilities. Spare parts are also located at the headquarters, ready for quick delivery to customers throughout the Americas.
