Viscom Inc. Celebrates Their 25th Anniversary

Duluth, GA, August 04, 2023 – Viscom Inc. recently celebrated a momentous occasion – its 25th anniversary in Duluth, Georgia, marking a significant milestone in their successful journey. Viscom Inc. is a subsidiary of the well-respected Viscom AG, which was established in 1984, in Hanover, Germany, and is one of the leading suppliers worldwide in the field of assembly inspection within electronics production. The company develops, produces, and sells high-quality inspection systems from the areas of AOI, SPI, AXI, MXI, wire bond inspection as well as CCI for conformal coating inspection, Battery and vAI.

The event was filled with reflections, joy, and nostalgia from all team members remembering Viscom’s remarkable accomplishments, developments, and contributions to the electronics industry during the last 25 years. Viscom Inc. was founded in 1998 and in 2006 the company decided to relocate its U.S. headquarters in the greater Atlanta, GA area from Norcross to Duluth. In 2008 Viscom Inc. opened an application and training center in Mexico, aiming to tap into new markets and access a larger talent pool.

During the celebration, attendees, including long-time customers, companions, partners, and friends came together to honor the company's achievements. Jesper Lykke, CEO of Viscom Inc., welcomed honored guest Carsten Salewski, Member of the Executive Board of Viscom AG, who highlighted the company’s unwavering dedication to innovation, commitment to excellence and strong partnerships built over the years, all key to the company’s success.

“With great joy and with respect for the achievements of our U.S. and Mexico teams, I’d like to thank everyone for the hard work, dedication and customer support that are the pillars of our success in the Americas!”, stated Carsten Salewski, who helped build Viscom’s Americas success as former CEO.

In 2018, Jesper Lykke was appointed as the new CEO to drive the company’s future growth. Ed Moll was appointed as President of Viscom Inc. and Mareile Gebureck as CFO. Earlier this year Juan Briceño, who has been with Viscom Inc. for over 19 years, attained the position of Vice President of Sales for the Americas.
