Viscom has been supporting the IPC CFX (connected factory exchange) since day one. — a global IoT communication standard for the exchange of information on the SMT line of MES systems. Approximately 150 leading industry representatives, are currently members of the committee that established the industry's first standards-based IoT network. CFX is a 100 percent open, license-free communication standard that requires no hardware or middle-ware. IPC CFX provides complete visibility, reducing cost and complexity, and makes it easier to optimize machine operations in modern electronics manufacturing.

Viscom integrates the SPI, AOI, and AXI systems into the MES infrastructure for efficient production control via the IPC CFX interface. In this way, standardized IoT data can be made available directly to a mobile phone or tablet via the cloud. Analytical reports, such as overall equipment effectiveness, quantities and other status information of inspection systems are displayed in real-time.
